DJ Ritchz

DJ Ritchz is born on July 30th of 1983 in Sri-Lanka. Only 3 weeks after his birth, he and his twin-brother (The Prosecuter) were adopted and brought to the Netherlands. He grew up in a family that has a business for more than 50 years. After he finished his "lagere school" and "middelbare school" he started to work at the family-company.

During his early teendays he got more and more interested in music. He learned to play on a keyboard. He discovered true feeling for music, but because he started in the family-company, he lost time to go on with music. Also because he still went to college. Only a few years after he started to work in the family-business, he bought a new hi-fi stereo set and an equalizing system to make fun with it. Then he realized that he had more feelings for music than he thought (just for fun). He started to play more and more afro-american music. Tried to mix them up, and played the music he recorded. After his brother (The Prosecuter) bought 2 turntables (JB Systems) and another equalizing/mixingtable, he got practicing mixing 2 records. Though not afro-american music anymore, but true dancemusicstyles, like Hardstyle, Trance, Jump and a little Hardcore. In a while he got good in it. Nowadays he does it very good, but that`s also because they bought a new set of turntables (Technics1200mk2) and equalizing/mixingtable (Pioneer djm600).

Since 2006, when he started to knew ArtiQ better, and heard he produced, his interest in producing started. After a few tutorials and help from ArtiQ, he started to try producing with MadTrackerII.

Up till this day he is still busy producing, and mixing, and with a little help from his buddies, he`s intented to go for it all! You`ll be able to listen to new productions and get more info about when MI DJ Team will perform and ofcourse where!
